Recently ORD-LGA, announcement about 30 minutes out when we were at 22,000 feet. Definite inconvenience for those working on laptops. Return flight LGA-ORD announcement 20 minutes out that turbulence was expected (we did encounter light chop) at around 15,000 feet. Both planes 737-800's.
