Two UA flights already this month, and typical UA inconsistencies.
1) First flight more of the old way, double chime at around 10K, lights still out. Four FAs were still chitchatting in the front galley for at least another solid five minutes or more. (Narrowbody)
2) Widebody flight. At 130 miles out from destination, purser announced we are in final approach. I don't believe he said that with a serious face - would be the longest final approach

At least another 30-35 minutes passed by before we finally touched down. Double chime below 6K, may have forgotten.
Either way, less work for FAs.
