Similar to my post 1437, but mine was opposite in a way. I had domestic segment first on Friday and then overnight at IAD with International to Canada Saturday morning. I was able to get UC access both Friday night and Saturday. So I would say just give it a try.

Data point for the thread. UA Platinum. Had reservation for CLE-IAD-YUL all in Y. CLE-IAD was a Friday night with about 11.5 hours overnight at Dulles and IAD-YUL Saturday morning. I was able to access the UC at CLE with no issue at all."
