That would have been my guess. I assume I may have to HUCA to get an agent who won't give the "no changes allowed on award tickets" speil.
I wound up booking a different route OPO-->MAD-->PHL-->PHX with the "rocking chairs" in J for the TATL segment. We picked the rear facing seats in the center of row 1 so we could sit together without being rocked by whoever is in the connected seat. These are unattached seats, no? Can anyone confirm that these are unattached? I know that the two aisle seats in row 5 are unattached, but couldn't figure out which two together are but it looks like it's these two in row 1 center. Not super psyched about the rear facing thing but I think it will be fine for one takeoff and one landing.
