The counter for 2024 is based on what status you qualified for, for the whole 2024 year. I.E. what status will you have in March 1- December 2024.

The one outlier is if you switch status. Say you were Platinum in 2023, but you only qualified for gold for the next year.
So come March you status drops to Gold, then throughout the year you stay enough to hit Platinum. You would then get a year of platinum for 2024, and 2025. The 2024 counter will change at time you hit the nights. the 2025 will happen around Feb/March of 2025
