It’s not just KL issued tickets, it’s AF/057 too. I have a 057 ticket in Business with a double conx in which I just noticed was downgraded.
JNB-CDG-AMS-YYZ booked all J/Z
now, JNB-CDG is in Y and rest are still Business.
So weird.
Update with more data points.
In the AF app, JNB-CDG shows “flight irregularity” and the segment shows “economy” with an economy seat number. Note:travel date is 20DEC so this isn’t an irop and EF shows J9 and wide open seat map.
The ticket number is unchanged so it has not been reissued (yet at least).
When I email myself the eticket, the pdf still shows my correct class as Z. I believe that the emailed pdf shows ticketed info, not reservation info, so this makes sense.
I have used the chat feature to inquire about this. I won’t be Plat until after this trip so no plat line for me yet.
