Hi fellow CX travelers,

Question for those who have experience or might know the process.
Does CX offer miles upgrade (obviously if available on day of departure) to those holding an Economy Light (E) (V) ticket at the check-in counter?

I've spoken to some cs reps on the cx website chat and they've told me I can do it at the check-in desk. I see the rules online state I'm not allowed to upgrade at all on the lite ticket, except for the bid upgrade function.
What does CX do in these situations at the check in counter? Is it something like pay to upgrade to an upgrade fare code and then use miles? Or can I use the miles upgrade right then and there if there is availability?
