I have been trying to update my daughter's expired passport number under Profile->Redemption nominees->Edit detail. Everything seems to be fine when I edit and submit the form. The only problem is that after I submitted the form, the passport number and expiry date was still the old one. I tried this many times and even contacted SQ support. The support was not useful at all as he did not even seem to be aware of what I was trying to accomplish. All the information under her Krisflyer profile is correct and up-to-date though. SQ should have just linked the information via the Krisflyer membership number. It is such a hassle I need to change the passport info everytime I tried to book an award flight for her.

Is there something tricky which I missed?
