I currently have a UA reservation for a domestic flight. In the reservation, I entered my MileagePlus (no status) number rather than my KrisFlyer number for Singapore Airlines where I have gold status. I was told by a customer service agent that I can’t change it to my SQ number until 24 hours before flight. Is there anyway of changing it before then so that my *G status gets reflected in my reservation and I can get entitled to one free checked bag and other benefits? It would also save time and hassle at the airport.
