A similar thing happened to my wife for SEA-LHR where the airplane was changed twice and she flew in a 767. We now have a SEA-AMS in April. We'll see.
Hopefully that was a couple years ago? I'm kinda optimistic that SEA has seen its last ever 767 on an overseas flight.
But just a couple of weeks ago, the March schedule for SEA-AMS changed from A339 to A333. I'd expect the April schedule will probably change shortly
