And, as D582 and I have repeatedly pointed out, this aircraft is currently operated by AC, not rouge.
I'm not sure they ever did last-minute swaps with Omni metal, but Omni 767s were definitely subbed in for stretches on other routes. I once refunded a BOG trip and re-booked on UA after AC announced that due to a shortage of their own 767s, they'd be using Omni to operate the route for a couple months. I'm thinking this may have been around 2014 or 2013.
(It's also possible I was about to book and decided to just book with UA rather than cancelled something I had already booked, but the net effect was the same - I avoided taking a trip on AC because I knew it would be Omni and flew UA via IAH instead). I also know that some of the FOTSG people who did business down there didn't notice the annouhcement and were very negatively surprised to find out about it when they got on the plane or heard about it from someone else who had taken the flight.)
I am extremely familiar with this. If it was operated by AC then it is AC. Whatever painting the aircraft has got nothing to do with it. Or how old the aircraft is and even the uniform of the crew. That is why wet lease aircraft sometimes has a different crew and set of uniforms. But as far as the regulator is concerned the difference bet LCC and full service is what I have mentioned. So if the passenger paid a ticket on a flight that has a meal service and he did not get one then he is entitled to complain. Not having an IFE on a short flight may be a bit frivolous.

Then I agree with what you are saying.
