The hotel looks quite a bit more substantial than the new Hilton. The M Club rooms are very spacious with great views of Nagasaki harbor and most of the rooms have balconies. I hope the suites will be available for SNA upgrades. The M Club is open 24/7 while the Hilton executive lounge closes at 7 p.m. This should set the standard, which is not high, for luxury hotels in Nagasaki City. I walked by the hotel about two weeks ago and the exterior is complete as is the new shopping mall next to it. Originally, it was scheduled to open in late 2023, which was then pushed back to the Spring of 2024, but now I see rooms available from Jan. 17 but only cash rates, as you mentioned. I tried a dummy booking with points but it doesn't work yet, so I expect point stays will be available at a later date.
