We are on a cruise, and plan on staying 1 night post-cruise before flying home. Our flight is in mid April, on AA airline at 10 am. Thinking about the 1 night post-cruise stay at Rome Hilton Airport. Read some pretty bad reviews saying smelling bad in the room, dinghy and tired, etc. , But there are also some decent reviews. I know this is 1 night (me and husband), but would still like a clean hotel. We are Hilton Diamond members. The convenience of staying on premises at the airport, and don't have to take a ride to the airport is appealing. Plus we plan on after dropping off our luggage at the hotel after the cruise in the morning, we will take the fast express train to Roma Termini and do some sightseeing in the area, then return to hotel by the train again that evening.
- Wondering if anyone stayed in this Rome Hilton Hotel....any thoughts or comments?
- Also is it easy to walk from the hotel to the Express Train Station for the ride to Roma Termini?

It is a 5-10 minute walk from the Hilton Rome Airport hotel to train station. The first time we made this trip, we needed to constantly check the signs for directions. Thereafter it was not a difficult walk, but the route goes through the parking garage.
