Question for SDC/Standby. I saw that Canada is not part of the list. I am looking at changing a YYC-SLC-DTW flight to a YYC-MSP-DTW (all delta metal). The MSP-DTW connection would have a 4 hour layover, but there is an almost full earlier flight to DTW. Would I be able to standby for that flight either in app or by calling? How does standby priority work, ie as DM would I be higher on the standby list than someone (obviously not IRROP) who may be GM or PM on the standby list?

To clarify, I would change before check in to a confirmed MSP routing with the 4 hour layover. However if I don't have a chance to standby for the earlier DTW flight, I may not change my ticket anyways.
