Thanks all. We had a 4h connection so no rush. Ended up taking the escalators up to departures. Walked through the first wing even though we had BPs. Then waited for a guy who I think has one of the worst jobs in the airport. The queues for document check was quite long on Friday evening. He waited until there were 4 of us and then walked us through 3 tensa barriers to the front. Not ideal! Then there was a fair wait to actually pass through security.
