I always have a pleasant stay at the HR Cambridge. Either top floor full river/boston view or a suite. Breakfast has always been good here (but has a lame coupon based system. Though, the few times I go over a few dollars, they have always just waived it).
Only thing I don't like about the place is there is nothing without a solid 15 minute hike to eat, and the walk into the Boston U area requires crossing several lanes of fast moving cars and dangerous to pedestrians intersections -- super unpleasant experience to try to walk anywhere. And this last summer, the nearest train crossing to walk over to Cambridge eateries was closed due to construction and this was relatively poorly marked on the street (I didn't know this until I was walking back from the red line and reached the crossing, then had to detour a half mile+ around to get to the hotel -- I saw signs for detour with random arrows around the pedestrian crossing to the east, but that signage was clear as piss regarding a closed walk path further down).
