It is possible there are not as many Globalists as their were pre-covid. You do not know the details (nor do I). Business people have changed habits dramatically since Covid. It may be that there was a significant loss of Globs that have not returned. No one knows the answer to this. You are suggesting you do know the answer and that is simply untrue.
Now, to your other point, it is true there are only X suites available. But if there are less Globs vying for those suites or if there was so much slack in the system post covid that even with more <60 night Globs (i.e., Bilt Globs, AA Globs, etc.) there may still plenty of suites to go around. Or there may not. We simply don't know. I am not arguing there are. I am simply saying I do not know. We will know over time... but today we do not. I'm not in the business of bashing a program until I gather facts and info.
As for the bolded part, Hyatt's bean counters certainly know the answers, and they just as certainly weren't told to come up with changes that would give more freebies to Hyatt's current 60-night Globalists.
That aside, there's simply no way there are fewer Globalists now than in 2020. With the various promos, Hyatt gave Globalist to anyone with a pulse last year and this year, despite the high occupancy rates. (But we're going in circles, so this will be my last reply in this subthread.)
