Slightly OT but had a medical emergency diversion last week on QR KUL-DOH at BOM as well. The ill pax was taken out within 10 minutes, but we stayed on the ground (without disembarking) for 3 hours to allow for the paperwork and refueling.

To be honest, when I saw the crew running around with a decelerator, it made me think that all those things we are discussing are so immaterial compared to life and health.
