I just ran into this myself. There seem to be two types of "Destination by Hyatt" properties in Hawaii. One type is a "Destination" (essentially a kind of AirBnB-type property), and the other is a "Destination Hotel" which is an actual hotel. One clue might be that the "destination" properties tend to have rooms called "condos" and they are typically very large, with kitchens, etc. The "hotel" properties tend to have "Rooms" without kitchens and so on, and the photos look more like hotel rooms, and they are sometimes called "Resorts". I called the Resort hotel, which has smaller rooms that look more like regular hotel rooms, and they confirmed they do Globalist breakfast, they try to upgrade on as available basis, you can use an SUA, etc.
