thanks- I appreciate the insight - I know it probably gets old explaining the same things over and over to different people /newbies to a particular program. It amazes me how cheap some of the flights on FB are thou- like I feel like something is just wrong- I found 50k miles TOTAL for three passengers (my, spouse, and child) from VIE to CDG to RDU - and in one case it was 50k per person in business and MORE in economy - I wasn't sure if that is some glitch in the matrix or not.

I messaged the flying blue contact on here who had reached out to someone else proactively - not sure if that really matters or not, but will see. I do have enough Thank You points if I do economy - and since it isn't a red eye, I might just do that and call it a big win - the fees on the business class were pretty significant, and normally we would rather have quantity of flights vs quality of flights (have multiple economy flights vs 1 business class flight)
