Another information about Hilton Yokohama. The hotel is located right next to the new K-Arena Yokohama. Obviously, the room rates at Hilton Yokohama will go up when there are major events at K-Arena Yokohama.

On Nov. 21 there was the first major concert event at K-Arena Yokohama. The concert was packed to full house and after the concert there were major traffic jam of people coming out from K-Arena Yokohama. Usually, walk between JR Yokohama station and K-Arena Yokohama is about 10-15 min. Many reported 1 - 1.5 hr. to get to JR Yokohama station from K-Arena Yokohama. Some reported that they took 2 hrs. to get to JR Yokohama station after the concert.

May want to avoid staying at Hilton Yokohama when there is a major event at K-Arena Yokohama. Just a thought....
