For my honeymoon next spring, I was able to make a mixed cabin award booking JFK-FRA (biz), FRA-SIN (suites), Stop 3 nights, SIN-BKK (biz).
I suppose this is more economical than booking separate reservations? Or maybe it depends on the route? I'd like to book JFK-SIN-SYD, with JFK-SIN (on SQ23 nonstop; not SQ25 via FRA) in J and SIN-SYD in Suites. I have never booked SQ award tickets before, and I'm not sure of the best way to go about it.
I did some research comparing differences by booking separate vs together, and it appears to save 34,500 points if I can book as one itinerary. However, it cannot be done online.
