well - to be honest, that simply isn't going to happen for me before I book the award flight (Air France literally started flying into RDU within the last month).

I did a test transfer for 1000 miles from citi TY points and it worked (so far) and did a purchase through the portol (something I was going to buy anyway) - so at least there is "some" activity. I get that it is a frequent flyer program, but people book award flights on partners all the time - again, I get it, there rules. I will call and hold the flight and see if that works then transfer. Unless this is an "always thing" vs a "sometimes thing" in regards to the blocked accounts.
