This was an exceptional hotel when it opened, with evening wine tastings @ Decanter for Plats, upgrades to Astor suites and attentive staff. It went steadily downhill over the years, with a death by million cuts strategy from ever-changing management.

I still remember staying here when it was pretty new. It was really a great hotel back then, but with the steady cuts and all the new options, I don’t think I will ever find myself back at this property again.
