We had a brief one night stay, with a late night check in and early check out. As a Platinum member with a Deluxe King, they placed us in a Victoria Harbor King. Basically, the same room with a different view. (Based on
ElevatorEnthusiast ’s photos, our room was decidedly smaller.) The staff, from the doormen to the front desk agents were friendly and welcoming. But, really disappointing they didn’t make an effort to upgrade more generously in what ended up being <9 hour stay.
- Really solid hard product, as you would expect for a brand new Ritz property. Bed was great and I appreciated the long table/desk and lounge chaise in the room.
- Bathroom was cozy but effective, with good water pressure. Amenities were Diptyque, and there was even a pricing sheet warning that if they went missing it would cost the guest $75 per bottle.
- Gym on 64th floor was surprisingly small, but sufficient as long as not more than 3-5 guests at a time. In particular, the weights area could only really accommodate 2 people comfortably.
- Indoor seemed great, but we didn’t have time to use it, just a peek. And the locker rooms had a large bubbling hot tub and a sauna, along with showers.
Cant say much else as the stay was so brief. So I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.
