Note:

1. AA miles expire 24 months after the last account activity (earning or redeeming). Since all AAdvantage flight awards are now fully refundable up until departure, it's hard to imagine anyone letting AAdvantage miles expire.

2. AAdvantage does not pass along carrier surcharges on any awards, except when traveling on BA or IB.

3. EY is one of AAdvantage's non-oneworld partners.
