This route happens to be <5000 mi so it falls in the lower NA-Pacific distance band in the Aeroplan rewards chart

If you book non-AC metal and connect at TPE (e.g., YVR-TPE-HND/NRT) it would be 75k for J, because YVR-TPE is >5000 mi
From what I know, the majority of North America to East Asia itineraries on non-AC metal will be 75k for J
Yeah, I was hoping for the 55k on ANA, but that's my problem -- not bookable.

So I'm trying to find alternatives right now, I was saving up points to be able to do a J class from YVR to HND/NRT
