Thank you, greatly appreciated. Understood that Hyatt isn’t always (often) the best choice, but for me Hyatt makes the most sense, particularly in January (start of qualification year).
Details (? TMI): Not Motel-6 or Red Roof Inn, mostly solo leisure non-resort hotel stays, legitimate loyalty program, challenging to maintain Glob, not working usually don’t spend much time in the room, don’t need traditional 5 star hotel service and amenities in fact see expensive hotels as rip-offs, hotel is basically location and a bed, a shower and (hopefully) a fitness center, maybe breakfast and a larger room or suite. Often only eat 1 meal per day, at home it’s late lunch or early dinner mostly fruit and vegetables, when traveling if legitimate breakfast is (perceived to be) included shift to breakfast as main meal with (hopefully) small afternoon meal(s) or snack(s), appreciate the (Glob included) breakfast (buffets) at several other HRs.
(Should have added: between Hyatt Leverage, AARP, Healthcare worker and military I can often get a very terrific rate at a Hyatt property. )
