I'm not even sure how much transfer traffic A3 pick up at LHR, it can only be from AC and UA and then probably not much so why don't they just move to LGW in total, have lower operating costs and be done with it. The only thing I would like better would be a sensibly timed, daily ATH-DUB service.
While LGW is not a bad airport it would be suicide for A3 to move there . LHR is and always has been a premium flagship route even under government OA it was one of the few routes that made money.

The T2 Star lounges and Terminal is far superior to LGW . Thank god A3 will never commit such an act of self harm !
