Back from a weeklong stay in the club rooms. Was my second weeklong stay this year, making up for lost time during the Covid years!

Everything is still very pleasant and aside from the trash on the beach and in the water when the winds shifted the last few days I was there, I enjoyed the stay immensely. Breakfast at the main restaurant is still my favorite of the 3 places to take breakfast. I wish they’d bring back the beachfront cocktail hour offerings of years ago but it seems they’ve settled on poolside or in the club only. Service was good as usual and it’s lovely getting nonalcoholic drinks all day by the pool.

Dinner options at the hotel aren’t a strong point but there is the beachside fish stands close by as well as the beachfront restaurant at the Belmond down the beach which was great. Also made a visit to Cuba which still is unique and decent value. The French restaurant across from the Le Meridien was also surprisingly good for dinner.

It’s still my favorite IC and my favorite place to stay on Bali.
