Interesting. We stayed at Seabird last week. At least at Piper, there’s no buffet so a la carte was the only option. Service at Piper was terrible last year and it is much improved now. Piper was crowded at times and reservations are a good idea.
We had two rooms via Amex FHR. One was upgraded with a TSU prior to arrival. The property contacted me prior to the stay and upgraded both rooms with the suite going to a premium suite and the room going to ocean view from poolside.
The 3K bonuses posted for me the day after we left.
