I made a cash and points booking during the Black Friday sale - mainly because everything in the city was booked out or cost more than €500.

I had booked a standard room but was allocated 1008 - a suite on the 10th floor. Service at check in was pleasant and friendly and they said that they always try to upgrade diamonds to the best room available.

Yes, the design is kitschy - and the suite was dominated by a huge novelty spa bath - but for my needs prior to a conference, the location was perfect.

I heard no noise at all during the night and the mattress was very comfortable.

For a cheap and central stay, I’d have to recommend this property and it was better than expected.
