CX can make it really hard to be a customer
So I tried the WhatsApp agent today. I don't think I have ever encountered such incompetent agents before. Are they any better when you have status?
It all started with me wanting to buy a ticket from DPS to VIE. For some reason the CX web site does not list VIE as a selectable destination (there are code shares from at least FRA, ZRH and AMS - and they sell BA connections through LHR) - the opposite direction one can get on the web site.
The chat agent asked me what DPS and VIE means. Then she told me they don't fly to VIE. I gave her the flight numbers I wanted. She said they don't fly to Vienna
Booked it on Expedia...
Are they always that useful?
(and yes, I wanted those flights because I needed the miles and it was a fairly cheap ticket)
