So I am looking at an 88K redemption in April from JFK to SEZ - two options are EWR-IST-ADD-SEZ or EWR-YYZ-ADD-SEZ - I was worried about the possibility of such a long leg (13 hours) from YYZ-ADD being angled seats but not thrilled with the A330 options for the other flight (both the TK and ET flights are A330s), so since it is almost guaranteed that this plane does not get switched out, I should go with the flights through YYZ then? Its likely that the flight on the IST-ADD leg you are looking at is the same on both TK and ET codes, as they are codeshared flights operated by TK and they do fly the A330 on that route on some days, although it is mostly with the A321N as far as I'm aware. ET operated flights between IST-ADD are on 737-MAX8s. Also, YYZ-ADD is the only ET North American sector that you're definitely guaranteed a lie-flat seat in Business Class, as it is always on an A350. The other North American flights are the ones that have equipments varying between the 788/789 and 77L/77Ws.
