If you currently have a 25K HAMiles balance then I would definitely cxl and rebook.
Given that HA has one of the worst IT systems in the US airline industry, the 50K miles used for the standard award is not instantly redeposited.
Bad IT is also why you have to call and can't just do all of this online.
It takes HA weeks to redeposit the miles from your original res and oftentimes requires submitting a request online after waiting 2-6 weeks for the redeposit to not happen.
