I booked our stay months ago went to check now and they’re running low on inventory now.
Just got an email from the hotel saying all roads around the hotel will be closed at 10pm for the night and any food will require a reservation both for NYE and NY morning.
Anyone stay here previously on NYE?
It is due to annual firework that is done at the reunion tower, which is connected to the hyatt regency.
I also booked off-peak, one night, a long time ago, for one night!
1. Hotel roads (specifically, around the reunion tower) is blocked for firework starting around 10 PM. You just have to Valet Park before 9:30~10PM. It will be closed until 30 minutes after firework is done (1AM ish)
2. Dinner requires reservation, but free globalist buffet in the Centennial never required reservation before. I am pretty certain that you dont need a reservation for this.
3. Another option for dining is Crown Block in the reunion tower observation deck ($200 per person ish)
