The T-Mobile connection is the same speed as any other type of connection. What changes, is the airplane and the internet provider installed in that airplane. Viasat is the most reliable and fastest. Panasonic has (nearly) worldwide coverage so is on all of the widebodies. Thales is in the process of being replaced.
