Before being 75K when I can book right into PC I'd uncheck the "request Premium Class upgrade" box when booking and just do it myself at the appropriate time for my status level.
Same here. My preferred seat is an aisle and even if there are multiple upgrade seats available in F, it places me in a window seat and I usually have to manually change the seat on line.
