I have a one-way rental coming up out of JFK where I booked the "mystery car" option, which was significantly cheaper. I was concerned about getting an EV as I need to drive 80 mi upstate and return the next day, and while there are chargers near my return location, I'm a EV neophyte and won't want to handle a multi-hour charge on my day of return. But then I noticed in the Avis EV T&Cs that one-way rentals are not permitted. I have never tried the "mystery car" option. Will the JFK location follow the T&Cs and not give me an EV? Anyone been in a similar situation?
