Any recommendations for PVR hotels, besides Almar (or further thoughts on Almar)? Looking at a spring trip and would like to be in/near the gayborhood, which rules out most of the chain options. Almar looks okay, though while I'd like to be in the gayborhood I'm also not planning to be out all night so the reports of it being noisy there give me pause.

I have been to PVR before years ago and stayed at the Westin and don't remember it being too difficult to get around, but would still like to avoid needing taxis if possible. Would also ideally like something at, say, Westin standards (which, to be clear, the Westin PVR isn't particularly at), which I know isn't necessarily easy to find in PVR.
