I booked the Sheraton Hiroshima base room this morning around 9am. Showed up at 12:30pm and was upgraded to a top floor "club" room. The biggest surprise was the room was ready for us at 12:30pm which I've found is rare in Japan. I do find the hotel has really gone downhill since my last stay 13 months ago. Good luck with future upgrades.
