This is what AS says on their site but it's far from reality. I was routinely moved to a different seat location before giving up on the automatic PC upgrades. Before being 75K when I can book right into PC I'd uncheck the "request Premium Class upgrade" box when booking and just do it myself at the appropriate time for my status level.
