I stayed a night there earlier this year. It is not a hotel I'd rush to stay at again. The nearby Marriots are better, as is the Waldorf. Hotels in China in general aren't that great at the high end.
I read that there very often a long queue at the reception around 3pm when people want to check in. As a diamond member, do you know if it is possible to check in at the executive lounge?
