Hey folks - I've been in lurk mode for a good long time now but I've noticed something recently and I'm wondering if it's just me.

Specifically, the ear-splittingly loud volume of in-flight announcements, especially on QX flights. I used the Noise app on my Apple Watch held at ear level on my last flight and it showed 95 dB!

I know an Apple Watch is not a scientific measurement device but has anybody else noticed how loud the announcements have gotten?
