Here is what Timatic says. As long as I have confirmed onward ticket and stay on air side, it can be transit without visa

Kuwait - Transit

Visa required.

TWOV (Transit Without Visa):

Passengers with a confirmed onward ticket for a flight to a third country within 24 hours. They must stay in the international transit area of the airport and have documents required for the next destination.

Warning:

Passengers in transit for more than 8 hours must be accommodated in the airport transit hotel.

Health

Vaccinations not required.
