Unless I am ineligible to enter Abu Dhabi, I really cannot see any scenario in which I would elect for 25h in the lounge - you can get hotels ranging from budget to 5* and there are plenty of things to do for a day.

Even if you wanted to explore the lounges, you can come back for your connecting flight 3-4 hours in advance, which will be more than enough time. There really isn't anything that is interesting or noteworthy about the lounge that warrants any more than an hour or two (at least the J lounge).
