I have a very long layover in AUH between biz flights (25 hours). I could overnight in a hotel of course, but was thinking of just exploring the new airport and lounges. Do any of you know if Etihad will allow access into the new terminal and lounges on an over 24 hour layover?
If you have the next day boarding pass - they will. Though I can't imagine spending 25 hours in a lounge - even the new J lounge doesn't seem to have the snooze zone.. I've had to spend 8 hours or so in the old J lounge due to a delay and I was miserable by the end of it. Get a hotel(for free if you are on a qualifying fare on Eithad
