Used new facial kiosks at LAX yesterday. Thanks to FT was able to explain to my wife as we walked to immigration what to expect. Walked up, looked at camera, got the proceed message. Walked to hear our names being called out as good to go. Stopped and asked if I need to declare food and he said "yes, what do you have?" (Coffee, chocolate, candy, dried nuts, tea) "thanks, you're fine".

Noted that there is no sign or notice on the kiosk screen that says you need to wait for your name to be called out as ok to proceed to customs. In the scrum I could see someone just walking through based on the kiosk wording. The space is short enough between kiosk and desk that it was confusing. I knew to wait for my name, but others...? I think I saw people walk through in the crowd mess

asides: Also noticed that at customs there wasn't any human screen that we noticed. Used to walk past a desk staffed or have a GE lane maybe, but wondering if now it is handled differently -- people using mobile apps, GE, etc? Long line at interview on arrival GE around noon Saturday.
