I am thinking about doing MNL-SIN on one day, then almost 30 hours after landing in SIN, continue on with SIN-BKK on the same ticket (although booking MNL-SIN and SIN-BKK as separate segments on a multi-city ticket rather than BKK as a direct final destination and SIN as a transit point to guarantee I have time to explore SIN). Given that SIA opens check-in 48 hours before the flight (to get boarding cards issued), can I request the SIA check-in desk staff at MNL to check my hold baggage through to BKK?

Also, given in this scenario that I would likely have a boarding card for the next day SIN-BKK flight by the time I check in for the MNL-SIN flight, would I be able to use the lounge at SIN? We are assuming a ticket in C.
