I have the same problem that DFWDave references. Out of the 4 itins I have for January, I can only view the one I booked in AA.com, a leisure trip. I cannot view any of my business trips wich are booked through AMEX and our companies Sabre Gethere.com portal. Now, if this thing coould view partner award inventory on CX, BA, JL, that woudl be a different story. S.O.S as the free tool. For $10 it isn't worth it.
You're already ahead of me. My PNR for a paid flight was booked through AA.com, it's active, only AA agents have made changes to it and still I can't find it in the new tool...
